A coach is a... Learning Designer
Teaching Philosophy
I am an educator that believes all students can learn. When students are provided the environment, tools, and attitude that they need, their learning journey they can be successful. Each student has unique needs that I as the teacher work to be aware of and to create lessons that meet their learning needs.
I have seen that when students' understand that someone believes in them, their confidence can grow. Students will meet high expectations when they are also given supports to reach those goals. As an educator, helping students meet their potential, demonstrate learning, and become successful is my goal beyond teaching them engaging content.
The use of technology can help enhance engagement and offers a diversity of learning modalities and options for use. Implementing technology into lessons can make the content more relevant to students and foster more curiosity.
I strive to create a learning environment that welcomes all types of learners; and encourages them to do their best. Developing relationships with students helps me encourage them and work with them efficiently to become better and smarter versions of themselves.

Creating Differentiated Technology-Based Assessments
Online assessment can look like many different things depending on the intended purpose of the assessment. Digitally providing assessments makes data collection much quicker than paper assessments, but also provides teachers other advantages like sorting data, sharing scores with students, and providing immediate feedback depending on the tool used. |
